New Office Timings for AFU Administrative Staff

Dear Students,

In line with the directives from the UAE government, AFU announces new working hours for Administrative Units and Center of Learning Resources as follow:

Note:

• Regarding faculty’s office hours, registered students can communicate directly with their respective instructors to know the session’s timing and the method of holding the session (via AFU student’s university email or through Microsoft Teams).
• During the first two weeks of the Second Semester starting from January 3, 2022, until January 17, 2022, AFU implements distance learning (online) as a method of teaching.
• Nonetheless, please be reminded that upon visiting the university’s campus or returning to a traditional in person learning, students must:

1. 1. First, obtain a negative test result (PCR), no more than 96 hours before entering the University.
   2. Second, obtain a green status pass on Al-Hosn app.
   3. Third, upon health assessment and status, the University will issue an announcement for-stating the method of teaching after January 17, 2022.

• The add/drop period extends from Monday, January 3, 2022, until Sunday, January 9, 2022.

• To facilitate any financial operation when registering courses, the Finance Unit, in cooperation with the Admission and Registration Unit, has activated the process of electronic payment and online registration of academic courses, thus, enabling students to perform these processes virtually from a safe distance.
