Student in College of Arts and Humanities gets a new learning opportunity based on the modern approach, as the student is the dynamic element of the educational learning process, accordingly, he/she is an effective member to this process. The faculty members in the college seek to rely on modern learning and teaching theories to choose teaching methods based on effective learning, participation, discussion, and cooperative learning, while implementing critical, analytical, and creative thinking methods and skills.
The college offers the following programs:
Students study specialized courses, elective courses, in addition to general education requirements that include subjects from a variety of fields such as: psychology, UAE society, creative thinking, innovation and entrepreneurship, people and the environment, so that the student chooses from these courses in proportion to his interests and preferences. The study is not limited to the theoretical side, as every student is given the opportunity to receive practical field training in a way that opens the door for a practical side in the field of specialization and the opportunity to apply the concepts and knowledge acquired in the field of specialization. The college programs enhance the student’s social emotional skills, as this approach stems from the idea that university life is divided into two aspects: The first aspect is the academic field where the student studies academic courses and its academic duties and tasks, and the second aspect is the social field related to the social climate. At the college level and at the university level, in this field the student gets opportunities to participate in extra-curricular activities and student clubs, and to attend awareness sessions on health aspects and mental health that work to enhance talents and skills,
Student enrollment in the College of Arts and Humanities is considered to be the successful member in developing knowledge and expertise in the field of specialization in addition to developing social, emotional and cognitive skills. All the best for all students, God willing
